A LITTLE BEYOND:
Talking about how God does everything in the best possible way and for our happiness, when we are witnessing so many troubles and so much evil produces quite a disturbance. Why is there evil? In time, we will conclude that God suffers the pains along with us all. The whole of the suffering in this world is also God's suffering. |
PRAYER TO CONTEMPLATE:
We realize our role before God when we accept his will:
"Give me, Lord, the strength and courage to accept Your will at this time of my life, and throughout my life. You know both what I want and what is best for me. Help me to recognize Your blessing and presence in all my needs so that my thoughts, words, and actions might reflect my trust in Your wisdom. Amen." |
