A LITTLE BEYOND:
With further contemplation, we will realize that creatures exist because God looks at us with love. We exist within the loving watch of God. It is this watch which gives us heat and conscience. |
PRAYER TO CONTEMPLATE:
There is nothing better than to offer what we have and what we are to God:
"Lord, here we are. Take from us the fears that mean to stop us. Remove from us the indifference, vanity and false sense of honor. Let all these things be taken. Look upon what is good in us, Lord. My defects, see at them as well. All the ugly, unjust, bad, miserable... everything. Look at me with your love, eternal God. Give me your presence and your guidance for all my days." |
